Utilizing keyed switch to provide locking control over a 4 button digital switch

Working on a GreenMAX application. The idea is we have a large gym with a 4-button digital switch to provide ON, UP, DOWN, and OFF control over the various light fixtures. The customer needs a way of "locking out" control over the 4-button digital switch so that after the lights have been turned on and a light level has been set the switch can be locked out or disabled so that the light level cannot be adjusted again. Thoughts? Ideas?

You won't be able to use one switch to disable functionality of another. The closest you could come would be to set the preferred level, and put the panel in Override mode until such time that they want to re-enable the switches.
