Leviton CTs will provide you the best accuracy performance with your Series 7000 meter. For applications in which compatible CTs already exist on site, it is possible to utilize them as well. These are the steps to configure the inputs of your Series 7000 when using the Power Meter Viewer configuration tool:
Notes:
- Select any of the millivolt CTs from the CT picker.
- Override the range by manually entering in the amperage of the CT.
- Override the phase shift value. Adjustment for phase shift enhances accuracy. If you cannot locate the phase shift information for the CT, you can alternatively use the accuracy class in degrees (e.g. A 0.5% CT can be entered in as 0.5). The meter supports adjustment values of -3.00 through +3.00.
Notes:
- Compatible third party CTs will have an output of 0.333VAC
- Rogowski coils other than the ones specified for the Series 7000 cannot be supported
