The Remote access feature allows your data logger to call home to our factory. This is a secure, encrypted tunnel between your logger and our tech support team to access the device to assist you when you are troubleshooting a situation and need additional guidance from us.
* This is not a suitable replacement method for on site field configuration and commissioning of the product.
For everyone's security, our team requires your login information to the device for every support session, just as anyone accessing the device on site would be required to have available.
Below will detail the different methods on how you can enable the feature depending on the device model #.
Enabling the Remote Access feature on your datalogger while logged into its web interface-
Enabling the Remote Access feature on your datalogger from the LCD-

After enabling the RA feature, watch the LCD for the connection status.
It may take 5 minutes and you may see ‘RA blocked’ appear several times.
It will show “R-A Connected” then display a “SN” and “R-A pin” when it connects successfully. Please record both and provide them to the agent you are working with.
Should that not work, it may then be best to involve someone who manages the LAN to help check the internet connectivity from that LAN cable with a PC. In business and corporate LAN settings your IT teams may have additional security features where port 2022/tcp outbound may need to be unblocked.

Use the "Menu" and "Select" buttons to locate the following: Main Menu -> TCP/IP Config > "R-Access on/off" | Use the touchscreen to navigate from the home screen to: Network > Allow Remote Access | Use the five buttons to navigate the menu tree to locate: Full Setup > Network > Remote Access > Enable/Disable. Once enabled, select Show Status. |
