Linked at the bottom of this article are meter installation schedules for various multi-meter devices. Ideally these are filled out by installing electrician, to then be handed to the person responsible for programming. The A8911 is not a meter in itself but does collect the usages from a basic meter so it is mainly used for naming each load. You may use this for sites that have the A8332 and only use the first eight inputs.
For any power meter, it is crucial to follow the installation diagrams in the manual to ensure phasing, wiring polarities, and CT orientation are completed per our manual. Then to document it accordingly. The install schedules below are examples of what information is needed.
In many situations, the naming in the system is best to be something that won't or shouldn't often change, like a tenant name.
For residential and commercial billing applications we would recommend meter names based on a unit, apartment, or suite number.
For building efficiency programs and code compliance applications we recommend meter labels of the following:

- "Panel Name - Circuit #"
- "Panel Name - Circuit # - Abbreviated Load Name/Category" eg. "PNL MSB - CKT 1,3,5 - INT LTG"

Series 7000/7100 (part# 70xxx or 71xxx) See figure 1 above for grouping sets of CTs together while keeping CT inputs 1,2,3 per each element associated with phase A,B,C, respectively. Phasing can be reassigned in meter configuration to any phase reference, but will unexpectedly increase programming time and effort. | Download |
Series 7200/7300 (part# 72xxx or 73xxx) See figure 1 above for grouping sets of CTs together while keeping CT inputs 1,2,3 per each virtual element associated with phase A,B,C, respectively. Series 8000 [Does not include an area to denote phasing. Ensure to add this information somewhere. For fastest programming, it is recommended the electrician can install the CTs monitoring each load in the following suggested phasing patterns:
