My local Home Depot carries three grades of Leviton wiring devices: Standard, Preferred, and Professional; I usually use the Pro because I like the back wiring and because they seem more robust.
The Leviton site and the online catalog show the grades as Residential, Commercial, Industrial, and Hospital. Why the difference? Is one set being phased out? And if both sets of grades are current, where do I find the catalog for Standard, Preferred, and Professional? Thanks.
Home Depot uses their own system of tiers when grouping their products together, but our categories don't necessarily follow them, as we group our products based on application. Leviton still offers equipment for residential, commercial, industrial, and healthcare installs.
