22R28 Receptacle

Newbie

Does the 22R28 Receptacle come with a gasket?

If not, what is the recommended sealant to use for waterproofing it's attachment. Since these are designed to use in a shipyard where heavy salts play a part in corrosion and cables of up to 100lbs being hung on them whats your recommendation?

The 22R28 does not come with a gasket.  We do not recommend any sealant as the devices are "sealed" when in use (plugged in) and when not in use by using a protective cap.  If you are talking about the inline plug (attachment) that is plugged into the 22R28 receptacle (sealing of the back of the sleeve where the cables enters the plug), heat shrink tubing is typically used to seal this area.
