A grounding screw can be found at the bottom and top

of the SMC. An appropriate ground wire should be

secured between the grounding screw and an earth

ground point, such as a grounding rod or a grounded

metallic water pipe. Wrap the ground wire into the screw and tighten with a screwdriver. A minimum No. 10, solid conductor, bare copper wire is recommended to ground the unit.
