Using Remote Administration - 4-port Internet Gateway / Gigabit Router

Remote Administration, once enabled, allows you to log into the 4-port Internet Gateway / Gigabit Router from another location.

To Enable Remote Administration:

1. Log in to the 4-port Internet Gateway / Gigabit Router. (For instructions on logging in, click here.)

2. Click the "Advanced" folder, and then select "Remote Admin"

3.  Check the "Enable Remote Management"

4. Click "Apply"

Once you have enabled remote management, there will be a number displayed in the field "Current IP Address to connect to this device". Make note of that number.

To log in remotely:

1. Open a web browser, and after the http:// prompt, enter the IP Address you wrote down previously. Immediately following the IP address, enter :80

     Example: http://xxx.xxx.x.x:80

2. You should now be prompted for the username and password to log in to the router.
