Re: Can the 6161T control a fan?
Dan Rowe May 3, 2015 5:23 PM (in response to Leviton Technical Representative)Please help me to understand why it doesn't work on a fan. I have one on a bathroom heater that draws 10.5 amps, but I tried adding another for a simple vent fan and it is not reaching peak speed. I would imagine the fan must draw LESS than the heater, so why won't it work? AND.....do you have a similar unit that I can get that will work on a fan?
Thanks,

Re: Can the 6161T control a fan?
Paul Peavyhouse Jul 8, 2015 11:53 PM (in response to Leviton Technical Representative)The link you provided says "Ventilation, exhaust, attic and ceiling fans".
I too bought this to try with a bathroom exhaust fan, but the fan runs at about 1/2 normal speed.
The fan is a Brian 57N2, rated .7-.9 amps at 120v.
