We are pleased to announce the release of our new Medical Grade Power Strips. The medical grade power strips are available with and without surge protection.

The enitre line is UL 60601-1, 60950-1 and 1363A compliant to meet all major safety regulations required for healthcare facilities. Medical Grade Power Strips are intended for use inside Patient Care Areas and specifically within the 6 foot perimeter of the patient, known as the Patient Care Vicinity.

Leviton’s Meter Socket Surge Arrester Adapter offers a quick, cost-effective solution to the problem of transient voltage surges caused by lightning or utility capacitor bank switching. Ideal for residential buildings, this Type 1 surge arrester is the first line of defense for protection of sensitive electronics found in the home. Type 1 Surge Protective Devices are typically mounted on the line side of the main service entrance and they install easily at the meter base. Providing protection of up to 50,000 peak Amps of surge current, it is designed for 120/240 volt single-phase ringless or ring-type meters and is available with spring-loaded, high-pressure, copper-plated contacts.
