      <title>What is the difference between the 69586-UXX and the 69270-UXX patch panels?</title>

      <description>&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyStart:5e52358f-3cc6-4a9e-8854-89a94ddb9980] --&gt;&lt;div class="jive-rendered-content"&gt;&lt;p&gt;Both of these patch panels are Cat 6 rated, and offer the same performance qualities.&amp;#160; The difference is in the configuration of the ports:&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The 69270 series comes with individual Cat 5e+ jacks that are meant to be terminated and then snapped in to the panel.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The 69586 series comes with the ports pre-loaded in groupings of 6, and the punchdown is done directly on the panel. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Pratcically speaking, with the 69586, if there is an issue with a single port (i.e. it gets damaged during installation) you must remove the entire group of 6 jacks to replace it.&amp;#160; However the installation may be faster as you do not need to snap in each jack individually. With the 69270, if a port needs to be replaced, it is just a matter of snapping in a single new jack.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyEnd:5e52358f-3cc6-4a9e-8854-89a94ddb9980] --&gt;</description>
